You carry your shopping for ten minutes. The bag stays in the ground for generations.
Our compostable carry bags do the same job as plastic ones. Then they compost.
Under home-composting conditions, 20–30 °C.
We replace plastic carry bags with compostable ones. Same job, same feel. In home composting they break down in about 180 days.
Send the size, print and quantity of the plastic bags you use now.
We produce a compostable version, printed with your brand.
After use, the bag goes to compost and breaks down instead of lingering.
Two materials, PLA and PBAT, built into bags that do the job and then break down.
Made from fermented plant sugars, such as corn or sugarcane. It adds stiffness and strength, and its carbon comes from plants, not oil.
A soft, flexible compostable polymer. It adds stretch and tear resistance. No BS: today it is mostly made from fossil feedstock. It composts, but it isn’t plant-based.
Compostable means complete breakdown within defined timeframes under set conditions, with limits on heavy metals and no harm to plant growth (EN 13432, ASTM D6400, TÜV OK compost).
Ambient 20–30 °C
55–60 °C, high humidity
Standards typically require about 90% disintegration within 180 days for home-certified plastics. Our products meet TÜV OK compost HOME and industrial standards (ASTM D6400, EN 13432) where labeled.
Life-cycle analyses show plant-based polymers emit far less greenhouse gas than oil-based plastics.
CO₂ per tonne of polymer
CO₂ per tonne of polymer
PLA takes in CO₂ as the plants grow (sugarcane, corn) and returns it when composted, closing the carbon loop and avoiding crude-oil feedstock.
The Luminy® PLA life-cycle analysis reported a lower water footprint than PET and reduced overall energy use.
Diverting waste from landfills and incinerators avoids methane emissions and toxic air pollutants.
Altogether, compostable solutions often use less non-renewable energy and leave non-toxic, usable compost instead of long-lasting waste.
Independent testing is how a green claim becomes a fact.
